The New Year!!

Well we here in Australia are now 12 hours into the new year and to you back in the states the future looks good. Not a lot has happened since the last post. We had a wonderful Christmas. We had some good friends come over for dinner on Christmas eve. And we had a really good time watching Kai open the presents. As we predicted he ran out Christmas morning and said "WOW lots of presents" Even though there were only 4 or 5 presents under the tree. But when he went to sleep there was only one. He got a Thomas the Tank Engine train set and a mini basketball and hoop, and a little "working bench" that's what he calls it, with some plastic tools.

So it has been a nice break. But I am starting to get a little bored. I think that I'll head over to the school tomorrow and see if it is open. The teaching assistant has to be there. So when he is around, he doesn't mind if a few of us show up. That basically means the Americans, because we have nothing else to do.

We hope you have had a good holiday season and wish you the best for the new year.
